Are you getting ready to switch your LibGuides site to Bootstrap 5? In this session, we'll walk through creating a custom header using Bootstrap 5 code. If you have an existing HTML header that you'd like to convert, you may be more interested in Converting a Bootstrap 3 Header to Bootstrap 5. We'll cover:

  • Where to add custom code for Bootstrap 5 pages
  • Creating a header with a simple navigation bar
  • Creating a header with a more complex navigation bar including dropdown menus

For this session, we recommend that you have basic familiarity with HTML and CSS.  Example code will be provided. For a refresher on CSS, view the recorded session Adding CSS to your LibGuides System.
