About:

Don't miss this opportunity to gain insights for developing complex subject guides!

When practitioners and researchers in the field of Community Wealth Building identified a need for a central landing page for their emerging area of study, they initially struggled to find a neutral and comprehensive place to do so. A librarian, two subject experts, and a research assistant from The Universities at Shady Grove decided to conduct a scoping review and disseminate the results through a LibGuide.

The findings of this project were made open and accessible through Springshare's LibGuides platform. During this presentation, Franklin Ofsthun, Education, Psychology, and Social Work Librarian, will show an example of a LibGuide utilized as a rigorous scholarly output and what you might consider before taking on a similar project.
