Learning Lab: Library Badging: Engaging Students with Interactive Tutorials in the Virtual Space

About:
Pushing the boundaries of LibWizard, the Content Creation team at Southern New Hampshire University’s (SNHU) Shapiro Library was tasked with creating fun and interactive learning objects that could reach a massive online student population.
Learn how their team created engaging narratives and incorporated ACRL information literacy concepts to go beyond a simple quiz. Discover which tools SNHU's team utilized to design content, build out code, create storylines, and produce accessible audio. Collaborating with their curriculum design team, they ended up with a series of competencies, allowing students to achieve a badge that can be displayed on professional websites and appeal to potential employers.
This 1-hour presentation with Southern New Hampshire University will cover:
