This session is for those brand new to LibGuides or who haven't built a guide before. In this new session, you will create a guide in your system along with the Springy Trainer. Be sure to have your account set up prior to this workshop. Prior to this session, you will be emailed access to a Google Folder to download your workshop content. Please be sure to download all content before the session as you will be using it to build your guide.

We'll cover:

  • Logging into and navigating the LibGuides dashboard
  • Creating a Guide using Top Tab Navigation 
  • Adding Pages
  • Using each of the box types
    • Standard
    • Tabbed
  • Using and formatting Rich Text with images.
  • Assets
    • Links
    • Books from the Catalog
    • Databases
