In this Learning Lab, Springy Dain will demonstrate how Patron Point Recommends and Staff Picks work and why you want to implement them into your outreach plan. Then, Bobby will showcase how to generate buzz about your library’s collections and boost circulation, all while freeing up staff time.

This 1-hour webinar will cover:

  • What drove Lexington Public Library to use Patron Point to promote their collection
  • Real-life examples of Patron Point Recommends newsletters
  • How they’ve maximized the number of subscribers in their community

Bobby Webb is the Virtual Branch Manager at Lexington Public Library in Kentucky, where he has worked for over 20 years. In his current role, he oversees the library's website, digital collections, and other online services. Bobby enjoys using technology to help customers and colleagues solve problems. He holds a B.A in Computer Science from Transylvania University and an M.S.L.S. from the University of Kentucky. In his free time, Bobby enjoys watching baseball, attending concerts, and spending time with his two nephews.
