Jeff also serves as Director of the UAB Libraries' Office of Scholarly Communication. He is involved nationally with the American Library Association (ALA) and the Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL) and served as President of the Alabama Library Association. Jeff’s research interests focus on scholarly communication, specifically the intersection between copyright and higher education. Prior to joining UAB in 2006, Jeff practiced law in Birmingham and served as a law clerk in the Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
