About:
From the mundane to the magnificent - join us as UNC-Charlotte’s librarians share their annual tradition of a LibGuides Party!
The LibGuides Party was developed as an opportunity for editors to gather, share tips and tricks, and make use of time set aside for LibGuides-related tasks. Originally started by now-retired Education and Psychology Librarian Judy Walker, this party is a chance to give some attention and recognition to the over 600 LibGuides currently available.
Since Walker’s retirement, 4 brave librarians have stepped forward and will join us to share their stories and how they adapted from pre-pandemic shared cake and space to an online party experience. Natalie Ornat is the Humanities librarian, Beth Auten is the Health & Human Services librarian, Reese Manceaux is a research data librarian and Catherine Tingelstad is the instruction and curriculum engagement coordinator.
Get out your party hats and a slice of cake as we learn some tips and tricks with Natalie, Beth and Reese!
