About:

The University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) encountered some challenges with asynchronous content. How could they make these learning experiences more engaging, inclusive, and well-integrated?

UNCW's goal: Create interactive and meaningful information literacy modules for their English Composition program. Their approach: Leveraging LibWizard Tutorials and Quizzes and applying Trauma-Informed Pedagogy (TIP). Register now and gain useful insights about how to apply these principles to creating more equitable active learning opportunities at your institution.

This 1-hour presentation with Brittany O'Neill will cover:

  • Principles of TIP
  • Steps UNCW took to redesign tutorials to align with TIP
  • Real-life examples of tutorials
  • Strategies for improving tutorials in an online learning environment
