About:

Do you dare enter a world of digital mystery and adventure? *insert suspenseful music*

Join Melody Steiner, Arts and Humanities Librarian at Lorain County Community College (LCCC) and Ellen Weppelman, former Engineering, Business, and Information Technology Librarian at LCCC for a Learning Lab where the boundaries of creativity, technology, and library engagement collide!

This spine-tingling session will reveal how you can turn your ordinary LibGuides and LibAnswers tools into extraordinary experiences for your patrons. Participants will learn the art of crafting a choose-your-own-adventure story using Springshare’s LibAnswers Chatbot

This 30-minute webinar will cover:

  • Creative storytelling techniques to grab your audience's attention
  • Implementing the choice-tree method, for a story-based, themed LibGuide
  • Innovative ways to turn routine interactions into dynamic, fun experiences
  • Time for Q&A
Care to go on an adventure? Explore LCCC’s innovative Halloween LibGuide — an outreach project that cleverly combines a spooky, story-based guide with interactive instruction.
